Landy Lin
PRESIDENT
I was born in China and raised in New York City; now residing in Plainview. I’m a healthcare professional. I’ve been actively involved in various nonprofit organization endeavors. My involvement as a committee member at the American Cancer Society, organized breast cancer fundraising events. Additionally, I’ve participated in numerous public events to promote community health initiatives within the Queens Chinese community. Running half-marathons for St. Jude Children’s Hospital has also been a part of my philanthropic journey.
Ping Cheng
VICE PRESIDENT
My journey began in a small town in southern China, where I spent most of my early years before coming to New York. Since then I’ve been working IT for a Real Estate Management Company in NYC for more than 25 years, gaining a comprehensive understanding of technology, the real estate industry and building management. I moved to Plainview with my wife and four children over a decade ago, and we’ve come to call this wonderful town home.
Susan Zhong
SECRETARY
I’m originally from Zhejiang, China, and have been living in New York for more than a decade. Recently, my family and I moved to Plainview. I presently hold a full-time position as a Human Resources Professional in the nonprofit sector while engaging in part-time Financial Planning. Outside of work, I’m a mom to two boys attending Pasadena Elementary School and kindergarten in Plainview. I’m truly honored to be a part of the Plainview Chinese Association, where I play a role in preserving and sharing our traditions and culture for future generations.
Jenny Lin
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
I was born and raised in China and have been a resident of Plainview since 2021. I graduated from Fujian Teacher’s University with a major in World Languages and currently work part-time in the merchant payment service industry. Actively engaged in Plainview Chinese American Moms group, I’m also a proud mom to a 4 year old daughter, attending Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Plainview. I’m passionate about dedicating myself to serving and supporting our community.

I’ve been a resident of Plainview since 2021, where I thrive as an entrepreneur in the technology field. As a dedicated parent, I have two children currently enrolled in the Plainview School District, where I’m actively involved in their education and community activities.

I have been residing in Plainview for several years, balancing the joys of motherhood with raising my three wonderful boys. With a background in international trading and significant time spent in Beijing during my college years, I bring a multicultural perspective to my professional endeavors. Beyond work, I am a devoted Christian, eager to make meaningful connections and positively impact the Chinese community in Plainview.
