About Us

Our mission is to strengthen Chinese American Unity, foster information exchange, champion equal rights, facilitate the smooth integration of new residents, and share educational and medical resources for the betterment of our community. Our mission is to share information, creating resources, and building a home together.

Plainview Chinese American Association (PCAA)
In 2017, the inception of Plainview marked the arrival of its first Chinese American Association. Motivated by the mission to enhance our community, we passionately promote local culture while upholding the cherished traditions of Chinese Heritage. The Chinese American Association truly embodies the principles of fostering a robust network, offering support, and creating an improved community for local Chinese American families. We also share our culture with other ethnic groups in the community by hosting an annual Chinese New Year Gala.

Unfortunately, as a result of the pandemic, all public events, including our annual gala, have been put on hold. In order to better serve the community, CAAP has successfully transitioned into a nonprofit organization and is now officially known as Plainview Chinese American Association (PCAA).

We are committed to continuously raising the standard of our association to provide even better services to the community. Our board of directors were meticulously selected by former board members and subsequently elected based on their individual experiences, backgrounds, and a shared commitment to serve the community voluntarily, driven by a personal mission. We gather under a shared objective; to promote Chinese culture, preserve traditions, and collaboratively create a better living environment for Chinese American within our community.
